Home charging checklist

• Confirm whether you are a homeowner, flat dweller, renter or landlord under the current scheme wording.
• Check whether the parking space is off-street and under your control, or whether a highway or cross-pavement process applies instead.
• Ask whether the installer is authorised for any paperwork you intend to claim.
• Budget the gross install first, then subtract only a confirmed grant amount.

Workplace checklist

• Confirm the Workplace Charging Scheme or any replacement support that applies to your organisation.
• Separate eligible sockets from wider civils, signage and software costs.
• Document landlord consent and supply capacity before ordering hardware.
